Our good friend and fellow movie lover Tim is out with with his 2010 year in movies (just ahead of our own Top 10 list for 2010, released tomorrow). Tim’s got a pretty exhaustive list, ranked in grade order, and he includes a one-line review for each.

To know Tim is to appreciate his often unique mixture of brutally honest, absurdist, funny, hostile, and often completely dead-on commentary, and his 2010 year in movies list is no exception. Some choice comments:

On The Runaways:

C) i was surprised at the twilight girl & dakota fanning pulling off this tribute to a great band.

On The Town:

B+) charlestown gettin’ love up in here. i liked it a lot. affleck has proven his directing chops.

On Stone:

D) deniro & ed norton should deliver a better movie then this. then again, it’s not as though they did much w/ the score, and they had brando in that, too!

On Kick-Ass:

B-) nic cage actually in a good movie, wha?!?!  it’s hit girl for me that makes this one a winner.
